It strikes me as a way of these men attempting to come across as the 'Alpha' male, manly, the take charge bloke a woman wants. In my opinion it smacks of insecurities, arrogance and in some cases, just plain stupidity. My username is just one of 3 I came up with back in 1999. Simply because I was sick of having to add a number at the end of any name I was trying to use back then.... Made up words are far more fun. I hope you find all that you are looking for and have a great weekend.

They are just silly names posted by people who are as silly as their names ok. There are exceptions but it is a nickname you post and have to be different then everyone else.

I belong in that group of people, BUT I made this account back in 2003 I believe and at the time I guess I thought that was cool, and also probably didn't think I'd still be here 15 years later. And they also want 20$ just to change my screen name, otherwise I would have changed it a while ago. And remaking my profile from scratch just seems like too much of a hassle.

asskrakr and streetpirate were the only kinda scary names that viewed my profile; the others were a bit for tame. i had posted a question years ago on the a/l and asked if the username had any influence on your decision to contact or not someone??? boy, was that a mistake! apparently i broke etiquette by using some real usernames in my posted question. for me, i do consider it esp. if its a name that has overly aggressive tones to it. this site is was meant to be fun. i'm not trying to get assaulted or killed.
