SUMMER (tent) CAMP OUT
After tossing this around last night at the March dinner gathering, it has been decided that the camp out is a go. It is going to be a 3 night event this time, with the dates being May 19th-22nd (Thurs evening-Sunday morning). ... It will be held at the Johnson Creek as before and hopefully I will be able to get the same tent sites. I am going to put the meal options out there for those interested in coming, those being: 1)I plan the meals, prepare them and costs will be divided among those eating. 2)It will be sort of pot luck with everyone bringing something to add for the meal. I know when Jenni and I did this last time, option 1 worked out really well. If that is the case, all you would need to bring would be any alcohol you wanted for the weekend. If we have as many as 8-10 people, I think I can keep the cost down to about 15 for the whole weekend. Not bad huh for 3 hot meals a day and a fun time to boot. ... So think on it and post ONLY IF YOU ARE COMING. If unsure, don't post until a later date. I am putting this out well in advance, for people to plan, but can wait until the last week or so to get the count down to buy the food. ... Well the gremlins are at it again. They certainly are Murph. As it stands right now there are 5 couples and a few singles M/F for a total of about 14. I may even have to get a 4th site for tents. I have the same one for food and the 2 for tents right now but don't foresee any problems with getting that 4th one. "AMERICA" Love it or leave it!!! | ||

Hey gang. I wish I could attend, but I will be packing that weekend to move to Longview by end of month. Hopefully there will be another opportunity to get together with everyone again soon. Have fun | ||

I have posted some highlights of the weekend on the other group, so am not going to bore anyone here with them. Let's just say in spite of Mother Nature's furry, we had an awesome weekend. Without Bobby's help, I would not have been able to do it, and he is suffering with his back from it. THANK YOU just doesn't seem like enough. To those who made, thanks goes out to you for hanging in there with us. Those who couldn't make it, I do believe this could be a yearly thing. Maybe next time! "AMERICA" Love it or leave it!!! |
